In June, EPIF met with Gunter Mayr, Director-General of the Director Generate Tax Policy and Tax Law at the Austrian Finance Ministry in Vienna for a very constructive conversation on the Digital Tax proposal.

Mr Mayr gave EPIF members an overview of the most recent discussions on the file, which is a political priority for the Austrian Presidency. EPIF outlined the different online payment models and highlighted the importance of clear definitions in the draft legislative text, particularly with regards to payment services and platforms.
