The European Payment Institutions Federation (EPIF) is hosting a virtual Roundtable discussion on the new SEPA Payment Account Access (SPAA) Scheme on Friday, 16 December from 10.00 to 12.30 CET.

The SPAA Scheme builds on the legal and regulatory requirements of the PSD2 to move towards an “open data society” whilst also encompassing value-added services. The scheme aims to deliver premium payment services with a fair distribution of value and risk amongst participants.

As with our previous workshops, the purpose of this roundtable is to bring together EPIF members and other representatives of PSPs and card schemes on the one hand, with representatives of the merchant community on the other.

The overall objective of the Roundtable is to facilitate an exchange of views with regards to the current status of the SPAA work, the practical implications of the Scheme for merchants and customers, possible business case applications and how the Scheme will interact with the wider EU policy agenda, notably on Instant Payments and Open Finance.

To register for this event and for further information, please contact the EPIF Secretariat at info@paymentinstitutions.eu.

Please note that the calendar invite with the dial in details will only be shared with registered participants.
